There’s something special about an end of the Summer wedding at Gordon Green. Ben & Kate celebrated their marriage on October 10th, 2025 surrounded by family and friends in one of Cleveland's most beautiful wedding venues.

As an Ohio wedding photographer, we love capturing weddings at Gordon Green because of its very customizable space, unique giant disco ball dance floor centerpiece, and their tucked away intimate outdoor ceremony space.

Getting Ready at Gordon Green.

The day began at Gordon Green's onsite beauty room. The mood was calm but with an excited anticipation in the air. 

From a photography standpoint, this space offered beautiful and soft interior light, making it perfect for timeless getting-ready images.

The Ceremony at Gordon Green

The ceremony took place in the venue's shaded outdoor space. You could really feel the emotion of Kate & Ben's vows. There were a few happy tears and sniffles in the crowd. There was a soft early Fall breeze blowing the shadows of the trees atop the awning that created an especially cinematic feel to the spectacle.

Portraits at Edgewater - Best Photo Locations

One of the reasons we love photographing weddings at Edgewater Park is the variety of portrait locations available.

Some of our favorite portrait spots from this wedding included:

• Beneath the magnificent and billowing willow tree during golden hour.

• On the rocks that separate the land from the glistening Lake Erie

• Along the winding paths people take to stroll through the park.

The Reception Celebration

The reception space at Gordon Green was transformed with florals and warm ambient lighting.

We especially loved when Kate & Ben had their first dance. Their smiles and soft gazes at one another as they danced were really touching.

A fun moment from the reception was when the vendors brought out personal sized portions of every Clevelander's local favorite, Mitchell's Ice Cream.

As a Ohio wedding photographer, we always look for genuine moments, laughter during toasts, emotional hugs, packed dance floors, and this reception delivered all of it.
