Kamila & Forrest - Dayton Art Institute Wedding
Kamila & Forrest's November Wedding at the Dayton Institute of Art in Dayton, Ohio.
Kamila & Forrest celebrated their marriage on November 8th, 2025 surrounded by family and friends at the premiere wedding venue within the Dayton Institute of Art.
As an Ohio wedding photographer, we are always looking for the most picturesque (No pun intended) locations Ohio has to offer, and the Dayton Institute of Art fits the bill. With it's historic and elegant Italian Renaissance-style architecture, as well as its versatile space capable of holding up to 600 guests, it's no wonder Kamila & Forrest chose this venue to host their wedding in.
The Ceremony at the Dayton Institute of Art
The ceremony took place in the venue's luxurious indoor space. Kamila & Forrest took center stage as the venue had a raised stage where the couple and bridal party could stand. They read beautiful and personal vows to each other, which we found incredibly touching.
Portraits at the Dayton Institute of Art - Best Photo Locations
One of the reasons we love photographing weddings at this venue is the classic architecture that makes you feel as though you have been whisked away to Italy itself.
Some of our favorite portrait spots from this wedding included:
-
The stone staircase leading up to the entrance.
-
The entirely marble Great Hall where they held their reception.
-
Overlooking the entire venue from the one of the open marble arched balconies.
Golden hour at the Dayton Institute of Art was spectacular thanks to the many vantage points the venue offers.
The Reception Celebration
The reception space at the Dayton Institute of Art was equally photo-worthy as its surrounding grounds.
Forrest & Kamila reminded us of a prince and princess as they glided along the marble Great Hall. It was as if everyone else in the room fell away, and they were simply two people in love sharing a beautiful moment together.
A fun moment from the reception was that the bride & groom invited everyone to their dance floor BEFORE dinner was served, just to keep up the momentum from their first dances.
As a Ohio wedding photographer, we always look for genuine moments, laughter amongst family & friends, emotional hugs, scenic backgrounds, and this reception delivered absolutely all of it.
