1. Looking back on your wedding day, what is one moment that makes you smile?
The first time I saw my soon to be husband when walking down the aisle. I had not seen him all day until that moment, and I remember being filled with so much emotion and excitement once I realized that we were finally about to get married.

2. What was a moment that made you laugh?
My husband and I wrote our own vows, and he surprised me with a personalized Taylor Swift poem at the end of his. It was funny, and I was pleasantly surprised by his poetic capabilities!

3. Do you have a favorite moment from that day?
There’s so many special moments from the day, but one of my favorites was dancing with all my closest friends and family at the end of the night. By that time, most of the crowd had left, but everyone there was busting out all the moves and having so much fun. It brought me so much joy knowing that everyone was there to help celebrate me and my husband’s special day.

4. If you had to plan your wedding again, what would you 100% include again?
Writing our own vows definitely made the ceremony more personal, although it was a little stressful, and having the band for the reception. The band definitely livened up the vibe!

5. Any wedding planning tips for future couples?
Enjoy the process! Wedding planning can be stressful, but watching all your hard work and planning come together for your wedding is really a special feeling.

6. Anything else you would like to be mentioned in the blog post?
We had a monsoon about 30 minutes before our ceremony (Justin had pictures of this), but the weather thankfully cleared up and we were able to start only 15 minutes late. The weather was absolutely perfect after that.
