Katie and Matt

You Would be My New Chapter

Katie and Matt's wedding day film. 5/7/2022 at Old Stone Church and Windows on the River

Katie and Matt got married on May 7, 2022 in Cleveland, OH at Old Stone Church by Rev. McDonald.

A bright and sunny day greeted Katie & Matt on the morning of their wedding day. Both awoke with smiles that day; not only were they getting married later, but they were doing so with all their friends and family together in one city for the weekend. With friends and family all over the country, getting everyone together to celebrate their special day meant the world to Katie and Matt. The day was truly filled with love, smiles, laughter, and fun.

From the moments that made them laugh the hardest – looking at the photos from the photobooth and being able to tell which photos were taken earlier in the night before a few drinks versus which photos were taken later in the night after a few drinks – to the moments they will treasure forever – taking photos in The Flats, running through their bridal party “tunnel”, and feeling genuine love and joy from their friends surround them, the day was one they will never forget.

When asked if they had to plan their wedding again, what would be one thing that they would absolutely include again, the answer was simple – a videographer. Being able to capture their voices, conversations between friends and family, the music and fun moments throughout the day were the things that they never would have been able to capture and relive in photos. Having a videographer made the day that more memorable.

Katie and Matt’s wedding planning advice for other couples: Have fun with the planning process. Don’t let the small things stress you out and ruin the process; and…. ENJOY THE BIG DAY! It truly goes by fast so take in all the moments big and small.
